Twitter Mug

Update : 11th March 2008 – Currently I am not taking any further orders for Twitter mugs.

About 4 weeks ago I was playing around with Hahlo (a mobile client for Twitter). It has a really nice “Grid” feature which shows all of your followers/friends.

I thought it would be a nice idea to create a mug from the Avatars, so I went ahead and made one (I make mugs for a living you see!).

I tweeted about it and posted a photo of it which got a good reaction. I made a couple of samples up and sent them out, which again received positive remarks. Check out some more mug samples on my Twitpic stream.

After a number of email enquiries and questions on Twitter, I’ve decided to make take orders for the Twitter Mug right here on the site.

It’s also been pointed out to me that Crowdedink were the first with Twitter follower mugs – and I’m happy to clarify that here. I came up with the idea myself though in the course of my day to day work of actually making mugs!

How to order a Twitter Mug

To order your very own Twitter Mug of followers just fill in the form below and I will get cracking on it for you.

The price is a very reasonable €8.95 with €3.85 for standard postage in Ireland. Postage for most other countries around the world is €4.85. If you want to confirm the standard postage charge (or express post) in your part of the world, please visit the An Post postage calculation page.

Payment is via Paypal. When your Twitter Mug is ready to ship I will email you with a request for payment. Once payment is received, your mug will be sent in the next batch of mugs being posted.
