A well known Irish energy company are running a competition on their Facebook page to win tickets to see Phantom of the Opera in the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin.
People are invited to nominate someone who has performed a random act of kindness. There is one winner every day for a week . The winner on day one won for this:
“i am nomitating my daughter <****> she was very ill in hospital and yet she got me to take the last few euros in her account to buy pressies for the two lovely kind nurses who looked after her ..i would love her to win as she has never seen phantom and it would cheer her up”
A mother takes the LAST FEW EURO out of a very ill daughter’s account to buy presents for two nurses.
Colour me flabbergasted.
