I shouldn’t have laughed so much at this story in the Irish Times today but I just couldn’t help it.

“Customers at a popular Dublin pub were shocked yesterday evening when a man who had been shot stumbled into the busy lounge.”

The pub in question is the Dropping Well in Milltown. The reporter covered the story very and from all angles. Describing the man as

“wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and was visibly tattooed”

And then :

“the man, who was later stretchered out of the pub by paramedic staff, was accompanied to the ambulance by a woman in her late 30s who was wearing pink pyjama bottoms and was crying and a man, also in his late 30s, who was wearing a Liverpool jersey.”

Thank you, Irish Times, for including this very necessary fashion information in a crime report.
