Well, this feels like a Sunday so I’m changing the header image today even though it’s Friday 1^st January 2010. Had to get rid of the Christmas themed header.

I’ve gone all futuristic with this weeks image. It’s based on a photo of last nights partial eclipse of the moon. At this point in the history of humankind, I really thought we’d be living on the moon, having robots do all our work and flying around in spaceships. Alas, that is not the case. All those dreams of marvellous technological advances I watched as a lad on Tomorrow’s World and Beyond 2000 have come to nothing.

I think the well known actor Simon Pegg put it very well on Twitter this morning when he woke up and asked :

Indeed, where the fuck is MY flying car?
