I suppose that, by nature, the human is a visual being, thus making him a voyeur; by way of example, how many times does traffic slow down just so everyone can have a good gawp at a car wreckage? And yet, how many times do we actually spring to each other's defence when things get ugly? The answer to the last question makes me sick and despair.
