Irish Blog Awards 2009 Prediction Pool (The Winner)
Posted by: | CommentsRight so, after going through the 18 entries in Blog Awards Prediction Pool, a winner has emerged. I used the list on Slugger O Toole as the official winners list.
The average number of correctly predicted wins was 2.
The one category that got most correct predictions was Best Blog of a Business – won by Blacknight.
The list of predicted wins shows how wide open the Awards are. Anyone considering starting a blog – do it – you have the same chance as anyone else.
And now to the winner of the predictions pool… Drum roll please (apologies for using the ubiquitous Sally Field image)

And the winner is Dan Sullivan who predicted Best Political Blog, Best Newcomer, Best Blog of a Business and Best Group Blog. Congratulations to you.
Thanks to everyone who entered. Now, who’s going to run an Oscars prediction pool?

Hug story from the train

Have a happy huggy Friday.

I’ve got a rather lovely oil painting of the Ha’penny Bridge in Dublin as a prize to the person with most predictions correct in the 10 randomly selected blog award categories below in the Irish Blog Awards 2009. The oil painting is on canvas and is 20” x 24” – would look great on any wall.
To enter – fill in the form – click send – I’ll sort through the entries when the awards results are out. Person with most correct predictions shall win. In the event of a one or more predicting all 10 correctly, I’ll do a draw. The link above takes you to the page with links to all the blogs.
Entries close at 7.55pm on Sat 21st Feb.
Form is below the photo of the painting. Good luck.
