Yeah, well, AJ, brief pause to take in deep breath. I don’t know.
I can’t claim that I have any comparisons to go by since you are my only Irish (!). I would have thought you would have stood a great chance. As you know I think your blog great, in more ways than one: There is variety, plenty of breaths of fresh air, fun, sincerity, occasional grumpiness – just like real life, all in a day’s thoughts. There is nothing fake, no vanity, AJ at his most generous.
Of considerable interest to me why you didn’t want to be entered into the contest. Maybe like me, whilst argumentative, you are not competitive. I’ve always been bemused by people who need to win a trophy – as if that validates them as to who they are.

hi Ursula, I won’t be at the awards so there’s no point in the blog going through the judging process – it’s a monumental task for judging so one less blog lightens the load.
Ah bummer. I hoped you might be there. Hope things are good otherwise though!
