My seventeen year love affair with my Citroen Diesel Estate (gender male or neutral: der Citroen, das Auto) was severed last Saturday midnight when some bastard smashed into my stationary vehicle (don't laugh: It was parked at my garage, serviced, repaired and MOT'd - ready for me to pick up for at least another year's happy cruising) only now to be beyond redemption and ready for the knacker's yard. It's quite phantastic. Needless to say that garage has no insurance (where do I find these people). I take it, AJ, since you seem a kind hearted and generous person, that you will give me a lift any time soon. Particularly this coming Thursday when I'll be moving house. Don't keep me in suspense - what's the make and colour? Please don't say a green Skoda. Or do.
