Firsts and lasts of the year

Have seen this meme pop up a few times now, so I thought I’d give it a go myself.

I’m doing the first and last line version.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the first and last lines of the first blog entry for each month of 2008. Quick, go do your own one now.

F: Welcome to lecraic.
L: Let’s see how long this puppy lasts.

F: Ah, April fools day.
L: Anyone got any good April fools pranks played on the today or in previous years?

F: A classic from today’s Herald AM.
L: Feel free to add your own in the comments below!

F: Really disappointed with the result of last nights ‘I’d do anything’.
L: Presumably she will be contracted only for a certain period of time and I’m pretty sure we will see Jessie take up the role of Nancy at some point and I hope I don’t have to wait too long for that to happen.

F: Has he just received some dreadful news from one his staff that the cleaners dropped a priceless ming vase?.
L: Get a new photographer Tony – one that can take the poker out of your arse for a start.

F: I’ve been an iPhone owner now for almost 4 weeks.
L: It’s just one of the sweetest plugins I’ve come across and if you have your own hosted WordPress blog I don’t know of any reason why you shouldn’t give it a go yourself.

F: Trying to avoid the “Help wanted” phrase desperately, but that’s exactly what I need.
L: Thanks in advance.

F: A few weeks ago I posted that the RTE Guide were looking for your input to compile a list of Ireland’s Top 100 TV Programmes.
L: Let the debate begin 🙂

F: If you go down to your Topaz station tomorrow, you’re sure of a big surprise.
L: More at the Big Knit website.

F: The headline in the Irish Daily Mirror screamed: “YOU OLD FAG”.
L: Stir crazy or just plain crazy, hmmm?
