This is what the dinosaurs saw… only bigger

Wow, this was the Astronomy Image of the Day on Saturday.

Just an amazing capture of a fireball meteor taken over a state park in Oklahoma. Don’t know if this type of image gets caught on camera a lot, but I’d take a guess and say it doesn’t happen very often.
