Video of the helicopter crash in Bettystown and more low flying helicopter madness
By aj@lecraicWhat the hell was that helicopter pilot doing trying to take off in such a dense area and why did he land there in the first place?
Scary stuff.
Just 2 hours after the Bettystown crash happened, Flickr member dbspin posted 2 photographs of a low flying helicopter literally 15 feet from his house. (Photo used under terms of a CC License)

Madness. Here’s how he twittered about it.

I’m assuming there are rules and regulations about where helicopters can and can’t land? If so, the rules are being flouted, even after a wake up call event like the Bettystown crash.

That is a SCARY video from Bettystown, it’s a miracle no one was killed. Imagine a helicopter just landing outside your front door too :O
