Ladies and gentlemen, to whom it concerns.. It’s the frickin “laser”

“It’s going to be spectacular”
So says Larry Masterston, the executive producer of the Late Late Show, speaking about the first show in the new season of the Late Late Show which kicks off tonight at 9.30 on RTE1.
A whole host of entertainment is planned. Riverdance, the RTE Concert Orchestra, a choir of 118, Catherine Jenkinson, Magic Macabre and other yet to be revealed guests. Guesses anyone? Olympic boxers, Louis Walsh and his new girl band, Padraig Harrington, David O’Doherty, some Failte Towers folk maybe? It’s always a bit of a guessing game.
Anyway, they will all be there in Wexford for only the 3rd Outside Broadcast in the Late Late Show’s 40 year history. Joining all these entertainers will be your host Pat Kenny.
Thankfully they managed to hold on to this talented broadcaster and wrapped up negotiations on his contract just this week. He is on track to €1 million in earnings now. Nice money in recessionary times and quite an increase from the last published figures of €850,000.

It’s over a decade old!
Let the shoddy film die and with it Mike Myers can die too.

Pat Kenny is earning 1 million euro. What immediately sprang to mind was Dr. Evil in that pose, and I think Pat Kenny looks hilarious bald

I thought Pat Kenny wore a wig anyway?
My Mike Myers hate gets in the way of my sense of humour.
