Anyway, the angle is wrong, and cotton doesn't stretch like that! As to Wogan, many scenarious spring to mind. But I don't want to put any ideas into your innocent nieces' and nephews' minds of how to prepare their favourite uncle's trousers before he puts them on in the morning!
