M50 eFlow whale

Hurray!! Travelling on the M50 will be a pleasure again after August 30th when barrier free tolling comes in – ahem…

The most shocking technology news has been reported from users of the National Roads Authority’s eFlow website.

One user found the internet pages malfunctioning three or four times before he gave up in frustration. And the credit card of another user was not accepted for no apparent reason, though he could use his laser card.

A spokesperson for the NRA commented :

“The IT department said (the frozen webpages) could be down to any raft of problems. We have not had any reports or any mass problems,” the spokeswoman added.

The original IT response was unprintable but probably went along the lines “Whaaat… A regular user of the M50 is complaining about the website being slow? You’re having a laugh aren’t you?”
