Twenty Major’s New Book

Twenty Major’s second book is coming in February 2009. Called ‘Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder’, the only details Ireland’s #1 most unrepentant smoker will give is that it’s set in Dublin and Barcelona and involves a stag weekend.

The cover was revealed on Scamp.ie previously and it’s a fine piece of artwork which I’ve desecrated with my terribly risque faux title. Look at the pubes on him though – does he or does he not need them trimmed?

Although this here blog had a negative review of the first book (possibly the only such review in the Irish blog world) it won’t stop me giving this a go when it’s published.

If le craic is still about in February 2009, I’m sure I’ll have some sort of competition to win some signed copies of the book. I’ll probably fake the signature – it’s only a burn mark from a cigarette being stubbed out anyway – easy to replicate.
