Ohhh, I remember that summer in anyways

So I pop in to the iTunes store this evening to treat myself to some new music because of all the rain and because my legs are aching and stuff n’ stuff. Someone told me they think I might have rheumatism because when it’s wet and damp my legs ache.. hmm, I hope not. Also, I’m suffering from an attack of spots on my nose – must be something to do with the rain too as I’m quite meticulous in my facial cleansing routines. Too much information – thought so :-)

Back to the subject of music then. So what pops up on a list of recommendations on the iTunes store? Bagatelle. Just released today. This is from 2006 though. Is someone in iTunes Ireland store having a little private joke. “Yeah, let’s stick this Bagatelle album up today. It’ll be a hoot. The weather couldn’t be any shittier and everyone will reminisce about how the summers used to be good. They’ll buy this in their droves to feel summery despite the weather.”

The Appletons are right about summers though. They used to be good didn’t they? Or does the passage of years making it seem so?

If you’re in a Youtubey mood, Summer in Dublin is here – not going to embed as I’ve reached my Youtube quota for this week.

More Bagatelley stuff

Bagatelle touring dates for “Summer” 2008 here.

Factoid : Summer in Dublin is the 3rd best Irish song EVER – just behind ‘Fairytale of New York’ and ‘One’. Go on the boys.

Download the album now if you’re in pain because of the rain.
