Via Brian Greene comes the reminder that from September 26^th battery retailers will be obliged to take back your used batteries free of charge. Clicking through to the Department of Environment announcement we see that they can’t spell the name of their boss.

Yes, I AM pedantically minded this evening, thanks for asking.
