Coca Cola update #2

Writing by aj@lecraic on Monday, 9 of June , 2008 at 10:25 pm

Simon Berry’s idea to have Coca Cola deliver life saving rehydration salts via their worldwide distribution network has moved onto the stage of direct dialogue with the company itself.

Simon had a conference call with Coca Cola last Thursday which was overall positive. The meeting brought the Coca Cola people up to speed on the genesis of the idea and the Facebook campaign which now has almost 2,000 members.

Simon sees the meeting as “a good trust building exercise” and that “active engagement with the right people in a global business isn’t a bad start”. I totally agree. I don’t think anyone could expect a first meeting like this to have delivered anything more, so it is onwards and upwards and the next meeting will be face to face with Coca Cola at the end of June.
