Sterling, sterling everywhere…

With all the press about how much British retailers are ripping Irish consumers off, I was interested to see the above ad for Powerscourt Garden Pavilion in the Irish Times this weekend. Jumping on the bandwagon or genuine sterling reductions I wonder?
Richard Bruton was talking about the same issue 4 years ago and here we are still talking about it. Only difference now is that we’re all watching costs a lot more carefully. Will this translate into price reductions at the till? Somehow I doubt it but stranger things have happened, and the fact that Mary Coughlan is on the case….
