The great unanswered question

You know, I’d never given question any thought before. Now I’m actually thinking seriously about what the difference is, or if there even is one.

Where do you stand on the big eejit v gobshite debate?

Courtesy of the ever entertaining Yahoo answers comes today’s big question

What’s the difference between an eejit and a gobshite

I use the term interchangeably and don’t see a big difference between the two but I do tend to use the term gobshite a lot when referring to a lot of politicians. Maybe that means an eejit is a harmless gobshite?

An eejit was born that way. A gobshite is one of his/her own volition.

A gobshite is a bit more specific innit? Some one who spews a load of shite from their gob. eejit does stupid things a gobshite says stupid things. Not that I’d ever stop to think of the difference when doing the namecalling.
