The Park in the Sky

Things ARE certainly looking up for O’Connell Street. A development like this is sorely needed for this particular part of the city. It’s nothing short of a national disgrace at the moment, a barren wasteground with absolutely ZERO attraction for local and visitor alike.

The Park in the Sky will be publicly accessible and is sure to be a visitor attraction in itself as it will be reached by cable car.

I don’t know what odds Paddy Power would give on it ever going ahead, but I would love to see it. Maybe, just maybe, it will get through all the hurdles and at the end of it all, O’Connell Street will be a street we can all be proud of.

Apart from anything else, Dubs need another competition to rename the development, especially the “Park in the Sky”.. Answers on a postcard to le craic, Tumbleweed Road, Tumbleweedsville, Ireland.
