Hey kids, don’t have nightmares

The evil looking character above is the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I remember watching that as a child and being scared out of my wits. He lured children with the promise of free lollipops and then trapped them.

I was reminded of the child catcher when I came across a truly bizarre collection of photographs on the Dark Roasted Blend website. It shows some truly scary looking items of sculpture / rides in children’s playgrounds in Russia and other places. Just one creepy example…
