only advice I can give you is to make sure you know in advance what they want out of any interview. getting questions in advance is a help so you can be prepared. I once accepted a request from RTE to do a consumer programme. I though the interview would be about the website campaign I had at the time (or so I thought) - day of interview came and it was totally different from what I expected. I got slagged at work for a long time, it was awful really. Also, if you aren't comfortable with anything during the the interview, just say so and if it's not going the way you think just say "sorry, it's not working for me" ... but you strike me as a very savvy sort of person so I think maybe this would all go without saying. let me know how it goes if you do it.

no, they're due to film it soon and they're looking for me to be in it. they had approached Dear Lover, he passed on my details along with a few others he thought might be suitable. i'm torn between wanting to see people like me represented in programmes like this for one, and not wanting to make an arse of myself on telly. advice?

oh no. i can see this being one to watch through your fingers, from behind a cushion, curled up in horror and utter mortification. the fact that the blurb breaks the topics down as "virginity", "monogamy" and "sex" does not bode well at all.
