This caught my eye in the Irish Times magazine at the weekend. It is a superb photo realistic illustration of Pamela as a love goddess (I’m presuming). I would love to know who did this illustration, anyone know?

I should point out (in light of the current raging controversy about plagiarism – or not), that the above image is copyright of whoever illustrated it – and is being reproduced to find out whodunnit!

Maybe Rick could ask Pamela?

I was going to point out that her head is a bit out of place and tilted too much but it’s actually more realistic than the Botticelli original “The Birth of Venus”. They did a nice job adding the dress too. Cool blog by the way.

I couldn’t for the life of me remember what the original was. Thanks for jogging my memory !
